Preschool Reminder
If you have a child that is 4 years old on or before September 1st, 2025 they can join us for preschool during the 25-26 school year. If you need register your child please contact the office ASAP as classes are being made.
If you have already registered, letters will be sent the first week of August with all class information. Preschool will start the week of August 25th.

The High School wellness center, gym, and auditorium are closed July 1st to July 7th for summer moratorium for all students.

4th of July March Band meeting instructions!
~10:15am at the school: percussion, tubas, & anyone that missed practice needing music
~10:30am at the 4-H building: everyone to line up
Wear your red polo shirts, black or blue jeans shorts/pants, tennis shoes. Bring your instruments!

Marching Band practice for the 4th of July will be Sunday, June 29th at the school, for all incoming 9-12th graders. Percussion will meet at 7:30pm, full band will begin at 8:00pm.

Thank you to Ms. Suzanne for not only securring the $150,000 HMI Grant last year for our district to assist in remodeling our kitchen, but for also doing such an amazing job through out the year that our district was selected to recieve two awards of recoginition!

The Gorilla Sprint Medley Team qualified for the Nike Outdoor Nationals! Max, Luke, Pierce, and Fin have earned this incredible opportunity and will be headed to Eugene, Oregon to compete on Friday, June 20th. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Reminder about Footbal LTI camp opportunities coming up in July. MS grades 6-8 July 8th, Elementary grades 3-5 July 3rd. Forms are available in the HS office and the lunch room during the free lunch program.

New members of the National Honor Society were inducted in April along with the new officers. Also, two-year members were honored as well at the yearly banquet.

A BIG congratulations to all of our student athletes who competed at the State Track & Field Meet in Sioux Falls this past weekend. As always, "It's a GREAT day to be a GORILLA!"

CONGRATULATIONS to the GHS boys track team on their 3rd place finish at the state track and field competition. See results from the meet below.

The GHS Youth Football Camp has been moved due to the rainy weather! The camp will be held TOMORROW, Wednesday, May 28th & Thursday, May 29th at Mike Dacy Field. Same times as previously scheduled.

The summer food program will begin on Tuesday, May 27th. Lunch will be served from 11:30AM-12:30PM in the lunch room.

The JH band will be performing at the Dallas American Legion on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th. Please arrive at 9:00 a.m. for practice. The program will begin at 10:00 a.m. Please wear your Gregory band polo and blue jeans.

DATE CHANGE! Due to the weather the GHS Youth Football Camp for ages 6-12 has been moved to next week, Tuesday & Wednesday, May 27 & 28) same camp times.

Region golf has been postponed until Wednesday, May 21st in Mitchell.

The summer lunch program will not start on Monday, May 19, 2025. There is a situation with the application and eligibility guidelines. We are working diligently to rectify the issue and apologize for any inconvenience caused.
