If you receive errors when trying to login to the Parent portal
or receive errors at the login page, try the following:Delete temp files, cookies, etc.
Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools>>Internet Options
On the General Tab, under Browsing History, click Delete
In the new window click Delete Files .. Yes, and Delete Cookies … Yes
You may also decide to delete the other items as well.
When finished click Close and OK to return to Explorer
Additional Setting to change
Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools>>Internet Options
On the General Tab, under Browsing History, click Settings
In the new window click “Every time I visit the Webpage” and click OK
Click OK to return to Explorer
Java
Delete Cache in Java
Start>>Control Panels
Find Java (you may need to switch to Classic View)
Double Click the Java icon
On the General Tab and in the section called Temporary Internet Files, click Settings
Then click Delete Files
Click on Update Java
Follow directions, if any to update to latest version of Java
Introduction to the Parent Portal
The Parent Portal provides current and confidential information about students’ school attendance, grades and class assignments. Parents can view assignment detail, email teachers, view attendance, view and print report cards, and view and print transcripts.
The parent portal incorporates the highest level of security. Parents and students can only see information related to their household. That is, the parent of the household can see data related to any student assigned to that household. This means that if you have a child that lives with one parent, but the other parent has authority to view that child’s school information, that child would be assigned to the second parent’s household so that the second parent can view the information.
